Casement Candle, schwarz

The composition is a staggered gallery of arched, gabled and rectangular windows set at slightly different heights, so the eye steps from one vignette to the next like a stroll past lit houses. Across the room the frames read as a bold, graphic arrangement of shapes against a deep night ground; up close each becomes its own miniature scene, with spiders dangling on threads, hatched curtains, candle flames and dotted borders drawn around every pane. Strong contrast between frames and background keeps the design punchy in daylight, and the gouache-like texture inside each pane adds soft depth under evening lamps. The many upright frames add lift, helping a corridor or compact bedroom feel taller, while the busy surface invites people in for a closer look. Simple oak furniture, rattan baskets, velvet cushions, enamel lamps and plain linen let the illustration stay the star. Run it along a hallway as a ready-made gallery wall, or behind a child's bed where every frame becomes a bedtime story. Because each mural is printed to your precise dimensions, you can decide which vignettes sit at eye level and keep the favourites clear of doors and switches.
