Fylgja, plava

The warrior stands just right of centre, and the composition works around him: the wolf's lowered head pulls the eye down to the left, while the raised axe and swooping raven draw it up and out to the right, so the gaze travels in a constant loop. From across the room the story reads instantly as man, beast and weapon; at arm's length the craftsmanship takes over, from the braided hair and tooled leather belt to the knotwork carved into the stones and the rim of the shield. Light seems to come from within the fog itself, a moonlit haze that rims every edge, so the scene stays legible in bright daylight and turns properly atmospheric under dimmed evening lamps. Layered planes of fern, figure, stone and forest build genuine depth, making a compact room feel larger and giving a big wall the sense of looking out into another world. Rough-hewn oak, sheepskin throws, hammered iron, worn leather armchairs and chunky wool knits ground it in a lodge-like Nordic mood. Run it across the full wall behind a bed or a gaming desk, keeping the warrior's face clear of shelving so the focal point stays intact. Each order is printed to your wall's exact width and height, which lets the figures be positioned so nothing vital disappears behind a radiator or door.
